Our makerspace is a collaborative workspace for making, learning, exploring, and sharing that uses high-tech to no tech tools. We are open to kids from the Regina’s Cathedral area and have a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers, soldering irons, and even sewing machines.

 Hand-on projects

· STEAM-based projects designed to spark a love for learning.  · We want to make it fun, easy, and delightful for kids to spend time building, exploring and creating together.

 Programming and Video creation

· Aligns to standards in Math, Science, and Computer Science.· Based on curriculum developed at MIT and UCLA.· Completely word-free, perfect for pre-readers.· New content added monthly.·More than “move the robot”. Kids apply coding skills to make games.

About Angus Street Makerspace

Our makerspace is a collaborative work space located at the hearth of for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools.  We are open to kids of Regina’s Cathedral area and have a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers, cutters, soldering irons and even sewing machines.  We start with cardboard, legos and art supplies.  Spaces like ours are also helping to prepare those who need the critical 21st century skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
